Wooden Crystal
Parametric lamp exploring the geometric shape and different types of material. This furnitures is composed of a 3D printed structure with cutout wooden sheets attached to it. The base is made of moulded concrete and in the hollow interior there is a LED strip used as the light source.
The design was inspired by the crystal shape, then replicated using Grasshopper parametric algorithm. The thin layer of the wooden sheet make it possible for the light to go through creating a soft and indirect lighting.
